Bio ==== I've been buying records from the age of 10 and started DJing when I was 16 after a friend (Hugo, who was a DJ) did a tape for me, and then gave me a go on his turntables. After that, I got bit by the bug and in time got some turntables of my own. After teaching me for a while, Hugo introduced me to Doctor D, one of the top DJ's in the city at the time. He took my DJ skills to the next level teaching me more about music and how to play and we would DJ in most of the clubs and bars in Nottingham. A few years later I formed a group called 3:6 Philly and in time released two records on ZOOM Records; THOSE FLAGS OFFEND ME & FUNKY ALCOHOL. Not too long after I left the group and stopped DJing for a few years and was bit by the bug again a few years ago when I covered for a friend by playing for him at REVOLUTION in Leicester and I've been spinning ever since. Since getting back in to the game I’ve specialize in playing mainly deep / soulful house and 80s funk & soul music, as I love playing to people who appreciate good music. I’ve held residencies in Nottingham and had one off gigs in Manchester, Newcastle, Derby, Birmingham, London, Wolverhampton, Bristol, Leeds, Norwich and Leicester. RADIO ===== I have my own radio show on SSRADIO called 'Deliteful Sessions' which is broadcasted worldwide on Sundays every two weeks 4pm to 6pm GMT. Other stations I've been on are: MixTheGroove Radio (internet station), Kemet FM, Heatwave Radio (pirate), Globe FM (pirate) and Kiss FM (London) MAGAZINES ========= IDJ Magazine, Melody Maker, Echoes, The Face, Straight No Chaser and Overhall
